Magister Operis™ can be a powerful asset to today's architect.
The Concurrent Design Engineering division of Magister Operis™ is dedicated to concurrently engineering the construction of anything one can correctly draw, along with assisting to with anything that one finds difficult to draw correctly. Our processes validates your design's civil, structural, and mechanical geometrical space relationships, and detects interferences before they even arise on the jobsite. We do not require you to be versed in the decimal-inch construction that our output efficiently provides the tradespeople. Since it is a fact, that we do not have mind-reading software, we only ask that you give your honest best at defining your preferences and general configuration concerns.
In the most simple terms…
The key to efficiency and quality construction is:
Magister Operis' concurrent engineering and/or building services are here to help, and are not trying to take over/nor take claim to, the design talent that many of you have. Magister Operis™ seeks to assist you, in skillfully maximize your talents by taking your mind off of dealing with an unorganized, many times barbaric, unethical, and uneducated building industry that exist today.
--->Magister Operis™ is here to help maximize it.<---
The Magister Operis™ system of construction process sychronization and implementation will set the course of your client's construction process to maximize the design you masterminded, thrusting the design towards and accurately homing in on the design's full potential.
- If you do your design in 2-D or by drafting by hand, Magister Operis™ takes your output and bring them back as working 3-D models for you to fine tune. This allows you to be confident that your design is proceeding concurrent with accurate geometry and “buildability”. These working models can be constantly updated with your changes for your analysis and manipulation. These 3-D models can also be set up for animated construction sequences that allows 3-D construction analysis, as well as apply photo realistic surfaces to the models for rendering animated walk-throughs of the finished product. If you are already using CAD, then you can just e-mail your design file to us and we'll take over from there. Magister Operis™, in no way, wants to hinder, ignore, or stunt your design process. We want to maximize it.
- Magister Operis™ eliminates all stringline dimensioning mistakes associated with hand drafting. Due to Magister Operis' background, dimensioning that we produce for construction, is dimensioned in a format that has been optimized for the best usability by the subcontractors and suppliers for maximum efficiency and accuracy throughout construction.
- Magister Operis™ produces accurate, concurrent, trade specific, engineered production drawings, files, accurate bill of materials and costs, and isometric viewing for all parties involved.
- Magister Operis™ produces project specific graphic timelines tied directly to the 3-D CAD model, that are reasonable and concurrently orchestrated, for the general contractor, client, subcontractor, and suppliers to reference, facilitating harmony and predictability (along with skillfully integrating design changes when they arise).
- Using in-house resources, information systems, and research, Magister Operis™ will assist you, in creating a project manual that is complete and specific, including material specification that maximizes your designs potential, function, and budget. This data is tied directly to the 3-D CAD model, as well as can be tied directly to the various owner, contractor, and subcontractor contracts.
- Magister Operis™ will eliminate the increasing instances of complex design, being abandoned, due to the typical lack of understanding of the resulting geometry in general, as well as the problems that typically arise with the communication within the construction management, fabrication, and installation processes, in regards to teamwork and specification control, in order to get your ideas accurately and efficiently into the proper coordinate space on the building site.
