Back Story: This is a house that Wm. C. Kemper/Bill Kemper had under construction as the framing contractor at the age of 25 years old  and the first time he was also paid as a "building consultant" due to his abilities to consult with the various architectural, manufacturer, suppliers, and coordinate the obvious desired result on the jobsite itself. The house was built for Mr. and Mrs. Claus M. Halle.

Mr. Halle was a former past president of Coca-Cola.

Special recognition:

Charles D. Gunter: Quoted then by a member of the City of Atlanta Building Department to be "the best builder we've ever seen". Mr. Gunter, the general contractor for the project, was very honest and very much a people person. He always listened to others and maintained an attitude of being fair to all parties.

Jeff Kemper: Brother of William C. Kemper. Mr. Kemper was one of our highly-trained project managers on the project. His precision sawmanship and component packaging at every level helped WCK Custom Home Building establish the first "Silent Roof System" in the metro Atlanta area, as well as later being deemed by the City of Atlanta Building Department as "the best built house we've ever seen".

Jerry Brousseau: Another one of our highly-trained project managers on the project. Mr. Brousseau's attention to detail, and his brawn to get it right, has clearly shown up in every project he has touched. Mr. Brousseau thrives on projects unique and challenging. This project was quite unique and enjoyably challenging.
